OUT NOW - Wilson, Smallwood and Ingram - Koko
LABEL PRESS RELEASE - PILOT039/ARMADA - February 8th, 2010
Three men on a mission with plenty of persistence, talent and skills to accomplish. Ali Wilson, Matt Smallwood and Tristan Ingram are the next big thing in dance music. There's no easy way to keep these UK lads in a jar though, as they like to experiment with progressive, house and a little bit of techno too.
The follow-up to that Ibiza anthem 'Perfect Sunrise' is called 'Koko' and is shaping up to be one of 2010's most striking club stormers. 'Koko' stands out with a multi-styled sound, touching the very tips of groovy house and sliding down prog-trance adventures, all into one, siren-maddening floor sweeper. Dark and twisted, but uplifting just the same. If you can't figure out what it is that makes 'Koko' so magical, just listen, close those eyes, move your feet and bite your lip in excitement!
Tracklist:
1. Koko (Original Mix) (07:34)
2. Koko (Dark Dub Mix) (07:20)
3. Koko (Radio Mix) (03:39)

Kinky Malinki Valentines Special at matter with We Love's Tom Novy
The 14th of February is a date that is forever etched into our hearts and minds. It's Valentine's Day and a day filled with amorous affections and erogenous eroticisms.
And, with it falling on a Saturday, this has prompted the sauciest and most salacious promoter in house music, Kinky Malinki, to stage an all-night rendezvous at matter.
Expect Cupid to be pointing his bow in both rooms at matter....
In the first room, expect a trilogical set of superstar DJs, would you expect anything less at matter? Open your hearts and welcome across the 2 rooms Tom Novy, CJ Mackintosh, Raymundo Rodriguez and Kid Massive to pluck away at the strings.
TOM NOVY
German sensation Mr Novy first came to our attention in the UK nearly 10 years ago with his clubland classic, 'Pumpin', featuring fellow producer Eniac. Since then he's been producing and DJing worldwide. He's better known these days for his underground and commercial anthem 'Your Body', which obliterated dancefloors the world over! Also, a championing resident for the We Love... parties at Space in Ibiza, Tom will be flying over from Germany, especially, and airing some exclusive material at matter.
KID MASSIVE
Kid Massive is one of the most prolific producers on the house scene in London at the moment. With forthcoming remixes for Michael Gray (Full Intention), Milk & Sugar, Asle and Olav Basoski, we can't recommend him highly enough - which is why he's fast becoming one of our high-profile residents.
RAYMUNDO RODRIGUEZ
Since November 2004, Raymundo Rodriguez has held a crucial residency at Jaded, London's biggest and most-famous afterparty at the End nightclub. This Sunday morning carry-on has become a bit of an institution, also making Raymundo one of the few DJs who gets to spin at the club every single week. Having been nominated for a House Music Award for his services to radio, Raymundo's radio career goes from strength-to-strength with shows for HouseFM, PushFM, Defected's radio show on Galaxy digital and now for Ministry Of Sound radio.
In the second room, expect the heart to carry on thumping to the beat of the drum with our fine selection of mixmasters - we don't use that term lightly. They are CJ Mackintosh, Mark Robinson and Grant Richards.
CJ MACKINTOSH
Well, what ISN'T there left to say about this man? He's a legend and one of the greats. With over 20 years in the business, he was responsible for M.A.R.R.S's seminal track, 'Pump Up The Volume'. He's remixed tracks for C&C Music Factory, Whitney Houston, Inner City, Janet Jackson and De Le Soul to name but a few. His legendary mammoth sets at Ministry in the early 90's blew us away. He held his superb night, City Loud, at Turnmills in the Noughties and is currently our resident. He is Mr CJ Mackintosh.
TRISTAN INGRAM
Tristan has played at places other DJs could only dream of. Whether it be playing New Years eve in Thailand at the Full Moon party, playing in a desert in Egypt or rocking the legendary Space Terrace. He's is a regular figure on the London and Ibiza circuit and has travelled far and wide playing his blend of House music. We look forward to him making his debut in Matter!
MARK ROBINSON
Mark Robinson is the Head Honcho of Peppermint Jam records in the UK and is currently the label manager and A & R man for this very prestigious label. He's also their resident and can be seen DJing all over the UK and Ireland as well as Russia, Ibiza, Germany and Miami. He was instrumental in securing the success of smash hit 'Nasty Girl' by house music diva, Inaya Day which reached the Top 10 in our charts here. We can't wait to hear him spin some of Peppermint Jam's exclusive signings!!!
GRANT RICHARDS
Grant has been our resident for as long as we can remember! In fact, he's our longest-serving resident and quite rightly so. His excellent selection of music, superb sets and fantastic personality make him a favourite not only for us at Kinky Malinki, but also for the thousands of clubbers he's performed to across the UK and across the world.
So, let us smother you with kisses and let our kisses increase your kinky libido for a house music night to be relished. This is more than just kinky lust this is a long-standing emotion and an ever-lasting love affair.
Let our house music serve as an aphrodisiac and stimulate you to dance until the sun rises. There's going to be only one Valentine's rendezvous on Saturday February the 14th. It will be at matter.
